I just cannot figure out who all these people are who hated it so much... This is a thriller/horror movie. And as that it is extremely effective. So tense! How can you all say it sucked so bad? What type of movie did you think you were walking into? And if you're saying that the endless stream of SAW/Hostel type gore movies are better, you need to turn off the Ultimate Fighting channel for an hour and walk around outside.

I was really expecting more from this movie than what I got from it. The good parts were all in the trailers as usual. It wasn't a bad movie, just not what I was expecting at all.

this movie was suppose to be scarey but it SUCKED.it reminded of "the Happening"very bad I give 1 star for each 1 .I need to put 25 words on this make this work

this film is a completely fraud, is the worst film ever, i didnt understand the whole point of the film, the story sucks , the ending sucks, its so boring and i hate it !

Don't waste your time. Most of these reviews are right on in describing this as a total let down. Those that said it was great must have seen another movie. I kept waiting for them to explain why these people were harrassing the main characters and they never did. The ending was a total letdown as well. Nothing was explained and it just ended. Fortunately the movie itself was only 75 minutes. Go see Iron Man instead.

This was the biggest waste of money & time! I would NOT watch this @#$@#$@#$ movie again if someone PAID me to. Very disappointed in the entire movie, as well as Liv Tyler!! I don't think Anna Nicole would have taken this role...(Bless her soul).

This movie was terrible! I watched half of it and still had no idea what was going on. The shallow characters were way underdeveloped, and the plot left a horrible taste in my mouth. The only entertainment I had was the times I tried to count the ceiling tiles as I fell asleep.

This was the biggest waste of my 1 hr and 47 minutes of my life. They do one flashback scene and never finish there thought. After seeing this piece of fluff film you are left asking your self what the f*** just happened here? Don't waste your money or time!

The Strangers starts out to be a very, very scary movie! It is very creepy, but after half way through the movie it is the same all the time and you get a little bit bored. Unfortunatly the ends kinda sucks and you have no idea what happend or what is going to happen. It still worths watching though. 3 Stars for The Strangers!
